Knockalva Polytechnic College is pleased to receive pregnant heifers donated by the Dairy Development Board (DDB), in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Mining, as part of efforts to strengthen and expand the College’s cattle collection. This generous donation represents an important investment in Knockalva’s agricultural training and production activities. The addition of the pregnant heifers will contribute to the growth of the College’s herd while providing students with valuable opportunities for practical, hands-on experience in livestock management, dairy production, animal husbandry and agricultural enterprise development. The initiative also supports Knockalva’s continued commitment to developing students with practical, industry-relevant skills that can contribute to Jamaica’s agricultural sector. We extend our sincere appreciation to the Dairy Development Board and the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Mining for their continued support and confidence in Knockalva Polytechnic College. Together, we are growing agriculture, developing skills and building a stronger future for Jamaica.
